Preheat: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan or an oven safe dish.
Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Mix the wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the Rompope Santa Clara.
Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the mashed bananas and 1/2 cup walnuts.
Pour: Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool: Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Prepare the toppings: To make the caramelized bananas and walnuts, heat the melted butter and sugar in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the banana slices and walnut pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until caramelized.
Serve: Top the banana bread with caramelized bananas, walnuts and blueberries. ENJOY!
